Nazarene Safe Safety and Security

 

A big THANK YOU for all those who attended the Nazarene “SAFE” training classes over the last few weeks. We now have 42 persons who have been trained on the awareness and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment for our ministries. We had many excellent suggestions on actions we can take to improve in this area and many have already been implemented. We will continue to make this an area of focus with additional improvements announced on a regular basis. There is a binder with a summary the Nazarene Safe program with notes from our training session placed on the table by the bulletin board in the Lobby. We now have a process for locking the rear door during services and children ministries to avoid strangers entering unannounced and there are men of the church who are regularly and consistently monitoring our lobby and Children’s area during all services. Thank you to all those who are assisting in this area.

 

There will be additional training sessions offered for those who have not attended and the content, including a recording of training session, will be posted on our web site.
