What is the World Evangelism Fund (WEF):
World Evangelism Fund (WEF) is the lifeline of the Church of the Nazarene’s mission to the nations. Every Nazarene church worldwide has the same 5.5% goal of giving. With the World Evangelism Fund, we do more together then we could ever do alone. World Evangelism Fund is used for the support of 724 missionaries in 156 world areas. It is used to fund field related operations as well as missionary salaries and benefits. Offerings over and above the World Evangelism Fund include Alabaster Offering (invested exclusively in buildings and property), Missionary Care Offerings (supports the health care and personal need of missionaries), and World Mission Broadcast Offering (provides electronic media broadcasts of the gospel throughout the world).
How can I give to the World Evangelism Fund (WEF)?
All funds marked as World Evangelism Fund or WEF will go directly to the World Evangelism Fund. (Place cash in an envelope marked WEF or write WEF on the memo line of a check) A percentage of Faith Promise Giving is designated for the World Evangelism Fund. In the fiscal year 2011-2012, 68% of Faith Promise Giving will go directly to the World Evangelism Fund.
